The Wagga Wagga meeting will be held at the Charles Sturt Univeristy, Wagga Wagga from Tuesday 31st of January until Friday 3rd of February 2017.
This meeting is an opportunity for all condensed matter and materials scientists to meet in an informal atmosphere to discuss their current research, future direction and other matters of importance to the field. The traditional informal Wagga format will apply, with emphasis on contributed papers and posters plus a number of invited oral papers. Students are particularly encouraged to submit abstracts for oral presentations.
The conference topics cover a broad range of specialty areas in condensed matter physics and materials science. Particular emphasis will be on novel multifunctional properties, solid-state magnetism and superconductivity, 2D quantum materials, advanced characterisation methods, and other recent developments in condensed matter and materials research.
The traditional delights of the Wagga venue include the beautiful weather, the nearby vineyards, the abounding wildlife on campus, and the attractive countryside. We invite you to take this special opportunity to enjoy an interesting scientific program at a wonderful and characteristic Australian location.
